Who we are
Paris GO Taxi, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at contact@parisgotaxi.com.
What we collect
- Booking data: name, email address, phone number, country of residence, pickup and drop-off addresses, flight or train number, travel dates, party size and any notes you provide.
- Enquiry data: the name, contact details and message content you submit through our contact form.
- Newsletter data: your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
- Technical data: your IP address and a session cookie, recorded for security and fraud prevention.
Why we use it
- To perform the transport contract you have entered into with us — dispatching a driver, tracking your flight and contacting you about the journey.
- To answer enquiries you send us.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations in France.
- To send occasional marketing emails, where you have consented. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Who we share it with
Your name, phone number and pickup details are shared with the chauffeur assigned to your journey, because they cannot perform it otherwise. We also use hosting and email providers who process data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell personal data to anybody, ever.
How long we keep it
Booking records are retained for ten years to satisfy French accounting law. Contact-form messages are kept for three years from the last exchange. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to us at the address above and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the CNIL, the French supervisory authority.
Cookies
This site sets a single session cookie, which is required for the booking form and security tokens to function. It is deleted when you close your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled servers. Passwords for staff accounts are stored as one-way hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what we hold.
